Turning Torso

Finalist T&P January 2010.
Picture was taken in Malmoe; the town where I was born. The building is called "Turning Torso" and is a deconstructivist skyscraper in Malmoe, Sweden. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet) with 54 stories. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia and the second tallest residential building in Europe.
Canon 24-105 mm f/4 L IS lens, circular polarizer, handheld. Raw conversion and postprocessing in Bridge and CS3.
