Description

This was such a wonderful find.

It's not everyday you see Nostalgic History as this. I took this image in a quaint country town in SC. The lighting was harsh and I could not stand where I wanted to. It was a rather dangerous area close to traffic buzzing by. So I took the shot as I could and I only got two shots total. I posted the other one(Nostalgic view).

Perfect in every way Amanda. What a find you have here and those were the days for sure. Gas was cheap, but we didn't have any money either. #8253543

The big red Texaco star! I remember it when I was a kid - yep, very nostalgic, Amanda and despite the problems you mentioned above, you did a fantastic job capturing the flavor of times gone by! WTG! #8253623

Amanda, guess I'm showing my age as this definitely brings back memories! You got a wonderful shot under what was obviously very challenging circumstances; your gallery is awesome; sorry that I don't have time for more individual comments right now but I'll look forward to coming back when I can; love your "pole topper" image, too; keep up the super work! #8253660

Amanda, I like this image of an old gas station! I just found one, too, not at all like this one, in northern New Mexico. The one I found is much more rustic! LOL! I may post it in the future! This, I like! #8254711

I've been trying to figure out what make of auto that is.
I think it's a La Salle but I could be wrong.

Great old "bygone" photo. #8257844
