Look Closely....

The title of this photo is actually "Spirit." I shot this photo at an abandoned plantation west of New Orleans. At first, I was just looking at this old barn, and then I realized something was staring back at me.

Neat, it is almost like a ghost horse. I don't think it would have been as effective if it was a paint or bay. Good catch. #260391Kerby Pfrangle June 08, 2005

Beautiful. It really does look like the spirit of a horse is watching over his old home. It's great to be in the right place at the right time and have something so wonderful to show for it! Great shot! #1454082Paulette Plakidas June 11, 2005

Thank you, Tammy! I like your reaction to the horse! #1554527Lynn Crawford July 21, 2005
Beautiful image Paulette, the horse looks so small, it reminded me of a horse my husband found out fourwheeling in the woods one day, it had been lost for days from its owner. The barn is so neat looking with all the old wood, great in B&W :) #1619289Jenny Bosmans July 22, 2005
