Description

This was taken at about dusk. I had about a second or two shutter speed, and that's the reason the water is soft. ISO 64, Exposure 0.60 sec, F-Stop f/8, Focal length 17.5mm

Hi Brendon,
You have beautiful veiling on your water but the image is a bit dark. When you shoot water like this your camera's meter is fooled into thinking it is brighter than it actually is..so you need to adjust for a longer exposure time. Try bracketing the next time and see what you think. More exposure makes for good veiling, white water and more details in your surroundings.
I hope this helps.

Rosemary,
I'll try longer shutters and bracketing.
Thanks for the comments! #1466267

Other than the photo being a little two dark, the image is stunning. I love that look! The water looks like silk. #1638443

Thanks Natalie! I've been meaning to try and lighten it up in PS, I'll have to try and do that. #1638447

Well I finally got around to brightening it up. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
