HI Carolyn!! THank you so much! THis "pottress" really loves what she does and it's a pleasure to watch her work. I appreciate you, Carolyn!

Hi Cathy! This woman earns her living doing this, from what I understand. Thank you for commenting once again on my image...you are a special lady!

Hi Joy!! Many thanks for taking time to peek in my gallery today! Appreciate your post alot!

Greetings Gail! Your praise of this image just makes me smile! How utterly delight to read your complimentary post! Thank you!!

Hi Murry!! Mud flaps nothing! Patrick Swayze is sitting behind me trying to lend a hand. I had a good time teaching him the technique. Maybe they should make a movie with a scene like that... ;?)
THanks again!! #72780

Judith G. Secco May 26, 2019

Fabulous. The detail is superb! I love your reference to "Ghost"....(lucky Demi)! #72854

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Greetings Ellen! Thank you!! I knew to get the photo when I saw the late afternoon light falling in the direction it needed to be. This is natural light...which is always my preference. Sometimes I'm just lucky!

Felicitations, Nancy! I appreciate that you took time to be kind. Thank you for your generosity!

Hi Suzie!! I'm glad you could identify with this art medium! It must be wonderful to mold the clay and create pottery!! Many thanks for your post!

Hey there June Marie! Thank you, dahhhling!! I appreciate your comment on the detail! Yes, lucky Demi Moore is right. Have you ever seen the spoof on that scene in "Airplane"?...I forget if it's the sequel or "Naked Gun"...it's soooo hilarious with Leslie Nielsen and the clay spraying all over the place. I laugh hysterically everytime! #72857

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Oh Ellen...I just recalled the lighting. There was natural light streaming through a window but I do remember the lamp clamped on the left. So what I said was incorrect...there was artificial and natural light for this shot. #72860

Carol Sherman May 26, 2019

Nice one, Dolores. I can just feel the wet clay on my hands. Working on a potter's wheel is such fun, and you've captured it wonderfully. :) #73162

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Bonjour Jean-François!! Thanks for commenting again.

Now if I was a man, I probably would be saying "Lucky Patrick" like you are! DEmi is quite adorable! That was quite a scene wasn't it? Probably the most erotic scene I've ever seen!!

Hi Kathleen! Thank you!! Yes...I think that this medium is very tactile and pleasureable to work with...though I've not ever done it. What sensitivity one must develop doing this over time! thank you so much for your compliment! #73217

Mark Oxley May 26, 2019

Gunther Allen May 26, 2019

Great picture Dolores! I really love working with the sepia tone myself and this photo is so enhanced by the treatment. It also lends itself to the subject (clay). Thank you for your comment on my sepia toned "Pieces of Barn" image! - Gunther Allen #74119

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Hi Gunther!! You're welcome for the comment on your wonderful barn pic! The lighting is especially appealing on that one!
