Silhouette of the Hunter
Uploaded: November 17, 2009
I found the hawk motionless, silhouetted against the gray sky and sea, hoping for morsel or perhaps a meal to stray from it's hiding place. I took the shot and tried to move closer and into a better position but he'd have none of it. So the silhouette of what I believe is a Red Tailed Hawk, perched in a dead pine tree, is what I got at the beach on Sunday. I haven't been doing too good in the wildlife department lately.
