The Hopeful Fisherman
Uploaded: November 16, 2009
Yesterday the sky was gray but the temperature soared into the high 60's on Long Island. I took my grandson Joey on a photo shoot to Jones Beach. We found some surf casters at West End 2. Although this looks like a B&W image it really isn't. It was just that gray a day.

A wonderful capture, Joe, at just the right moment to isolate the best action. The man's reflection adds another great touch. Exceptionally well done! #8134584Agnes Fegan November 16, 2009
Terrific image from Jones Beach! I heard there was a lot of beach erosion (at least at Robert Moses) after the storm... #8135007Patrick Rouzes November 16, 2009

...And to think my first thought was to compliment you for choosing this to be B&W! Well it was just meant to be then! This looks like high action here! That's really great too, that you and your grandson get out and do things like this together. This would no doubt be a cherished day photo for you both. :)
Great job!
