Working with Jim Z on a course in toning and really liked this one. Michie, the dog was wearing orange, but I somehow like the toned better than the original.

I like the toned, too. Without having seen the color version I imagine the color would have fought with all of the details you have captured here. Wonderful image, Judi!

Don't you think Jim Z a great instructor? He was my 1st teacher...didn't even know what aperture or shutter meant as I held my new "paintbrush" in hand. I since took a few course with him...the best!

Hi Patti, Thanks for commenting and you have it right. It was Halloween so there were many colors...bright orange for one:-).
I really enjoyed Jim. I had him for four courses and he was my 1st teacher also. His enthusiasm for what he does was very inspirational for me ! Maybe we'll be a future class together..... #8503860
