Description

Warm-up before sounding "Taps" at Arlington National Cemetary, Memorial Day Weekend, 2005. This was for a ceremony honoring the 14th Air Force veterans of WWII, the "Flying Tigers".

Bobbie, Carla and Susan,

Thanks! Both the bugler pictured and I work together. He had told me that he was playing at this event - there will only ever be two more of these, as the veterans are dying off - they have decided to disband after 2007. The organizer had recently worked with us on another project, and he is a fascinating man himself.

Although this is a posed picture, we both really liked the idea of getting a shot in front of the flag. If you look at the following picture in my portfolio, you will see Jari later in the same day in his off - duty time! #1413034
