FASHION DISTRICT NEWSSTAND
Uploaded: October 17, 2009
It's early morning in the Fashion District of Manhattan. It's raining and it's cold. No matter to this New Yorker, or the guy taking the picture, he's ready to transact business. He's got the daily papers, magazines, candy, cigarettes ($10 s pack), cold drinks and god knows what else in there. That white bicycle in the corner is a Ghost Bike. It commemorates the death of a bike rider hit by a car in the city. Have a good weekend everyone.

One of your fantastic Manhatten shots, Joe. The "night" lighting is perfect, and the "ghost bike" in the foreground finishes the composition to a tee. #1193269John Connolly October 17, 2009
