I'm Ready To Go Jelly Fishing
Uploaded: October 04, 2009
I'm ready...I'm ready.. to go jelly fishing...reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants!
Shot at the Pecan Street Festival in Austin last week. One of the artist buys dead jelly fishes, encloses them into glass paper weights. They are absolutely beautiful pieces of art.

I'm so glad you explained about the peper weight, Lauren. I didn't recall ever seeing this sort of color in a jelly. Perhaps it is natural and perhaps it was somehow produced by the artist? #8047381Lauren P. Krajenta October 18, 2009
Hi Mitch..I'm not sure about the colors. He also had green ones. If I had to guess he either bought them that way from the museums or maybe in tranforming them into paperweights it changed the colors. #8047425Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
