Two Wee Suns...

Uploaded: October 03, 2009

Description

Two wee-suns (to have a macro lens). The wonderful thing about a dedicated macro is its inherent ability to limit DOF, which can be artistically useful.

These little yellow flowers were not quite 1cm across (and dancing around in a nice breeze, at that).

(Sometimes, that shallow DOF is the bane of my existence!)

Exif: F Number: 9, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 10/2000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 105.00 mm, Model: NIKON D40

Two Wee Suns? Or Two Yee Suns? A gorgeous macro and under the worst of circumstances! Those breezes seem to arise just as I place my index finger on the shutter button. Exceptionally well done, Tess!! Nice!! #8004611
