75-300 IS lens @ 270mm, 1/13s, F20
I spent two hours shooting the horses at their training field. I must say that panning with a telephoto lens is quite hard (discovered this after returning home and finding 90% of the images too blurred). With a longer telephoto, the required camera movement is small and more prone to errors. In this, more successful photo I tried to use panning combined with slow shutter speed to create a dynamic image. I agree that some more space above the rider's head would be better, but that's all I had.
