Ice Sculpture

Uploaded: March 15, 2003

Description

I was walking along a small creek looking for a landscape shot when I noticed how the ice was melting away as the water ran underneath. I was intrigued by the different shapes that were forming. So I took 4 or 5 shots of this 1 inch piece of ice with my macro lens. This is the 2nd shot I took and the ice was completely gone by the 5th. I made selections of the snow ice and water in photoshop, mainly to add some texture to the snow and to bevel the ice slightly.
