That's a lot of snow for Texas! Oh, I see. You're back home.Well then. That's about the right amount of snow. Good use of light and shadow, Gary. Welcome home! #67374

Gary, I really like the way the foreground cups the pano and keeps the eye moving from one end of the photo to the other and back again. You must have PANO eyes :0) Great work. #67437

Many thank you's to all! I'm glad to see you still aren't quite over saturated with 'white' ;-)

Lem and Shirley; thank you both for the kind 'welcome home' :-) This pan was taken on the road between Anchorage and Valdez and was approx. 200 miles from actual home, but felt just as comfortable as I spend a lot of time on this road.

Caroloyn; I wish the sun meant spring was here, but unfortunately it seems we're having February weather in March. It's been the coldest and windiest days of the entire winter this last week!

Murry; Maybe you stumbled on something! I might be wall-eyed and never really noticed!

Lorraine; Thanks for adding the prose to my photo! It certainly applies here because the furthest peak you can see on the left side is roughly 50 miles from where I took the photo!

Thank you all, once again! #67976

How did I miss this?? So spectacular! How well recorded God's beauty is, Gary! You do it justice! #68147

Thank you Dolores! It was impossible to portray the magnificence of this view with single photos so I had no choice but to build the panorama :-) #68150
