Some days, you really have to appreciate the lyrics... "Oh beautiful for spacious skies!"

(And amber waves of -- soy?? That's what the golden fields in the background are.)

I don't think I've ever seen so many late summer wildflowers here in Illinois! They are just luxuriant this year, no doubt because of all the extra rain we had. Took this Sunday afternoon not far from home. The trees are just beginning to turn but right now, the real Color Show is on the ground!

A great day to all! Yesterday I didn't get to comment much - hope to catch up later on today.

I sure could appreciate the lyrics but I might interpret them as " I love a sunburnt country. A land of sweeping plains....." :)
