American Gothic!
Uploaded: September 13, 2009
--------
Looking through one of the many Gothic arches on the Princeton University campus. This one leads to the main Quad. Labor Day, 2009.
------------
Shot with the short end of my Tamron 18-270mm lens attached to my Canon 50D, close up from the curbside, the perspective was heavily distorted. If you haven't tried Photoshop's Warp tool, it's really great for straightening lines. Also used Vanishing Point to remove the conduit on the left side. It actually continued all the way to the top of the structure. Finally, swapped some gray clouds for the gray, overcast sky.
