Description

This is one of the monarchs that we raised from eggs on.
I missed it coming out of its cocoon by not more than 20 minutes.
It ate for a few minutes and then fly into the trees to soak up some sun.

Taken at 2 pm with my 180mm L lens - Handheld.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and your comments are always welcomed and appreciated. (as are any tips ;))

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 125, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 180.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 50D
