Description

I originally chose this photo because the inside of the barn was so much darker than the outside. Using the selction tool to isolate the sky,etc in the windows I was only able to get back some decent detail in 2 of the 3 window panes plus the doorway detail was lost. So instead, I cropped out the door and used the magic wand to select the outside showing in the window. I used a photo of the cornfield(had to transform and scale the photo to size it properly) around the barn to replace what I cut out. I flattened the photo. Then I used the channel mixer with no adjustment to convert to b&w. I created an adjustment layer for levels and chose the multiple mode. Then I created another adjustment layer for the channel mixer and fine tuned the photo. I then used the magic wand to select the window area and make final adjustments to the outdoor lighting using curves.
