Aaron,
Nice name and shot. Was this taken from the shore or pier? Do you use any filters when you shot? What kind and speed film do you use with your sport shooting?

I am self taught too, but just recently taken some beginning classes. Has really helped. Good luck to you and keep up the good work. I will have to check back to see more one of these days.

The shot was actually taken from a cliff area ( Sunset Cliffs ) Hard to shoot due to distance. I used an 800mm sigma telephoto lense & a 2x Teleconverter. The only filter I use is the standard UV. At the time I only had Fuji 400. I usually shoot with 800 with that lense. Thanks for the comment! #79062

Sunset Cliffs. I will have to remember that the next time I head down to S.D. I live in Orange County CA. Nice lens you have there. I guess I need to pull my teleconverter out more often. Well, keep up the good work. You have a good eye for this. Looking at your pictures has me wanting to try shooting more sports. #79143
