Thanks, Monnie! Me too! Actually, the trees were green not red and gold, so Autumn here is a Photoshop illusion... I can also wait although it won't be very long. Just yesterday, I saw some scarlet sumac and that hint of winter chill is definitely here, already. "Alas!" Well, it will be beautiful I'm sure - but I am enjoying the last gasp of summer while I can! #7909691

Thank you Ann, Tarun, and Kitty! Yes... this egret has appeared before. This is a revised version of a former finalist. But the egret's even older (and is now in Egret Heaven, I am pretty sure!). I took him with my Canon AE-1 - on film! - in California. Since that time, he's toured around a bit! LOL! #7909896
