Description

This 12 point bull elk is what the other 2 bull elks from yesterday were keeping their eye on. He was in a tiny meadow just off the woods but was approaching the other 2 "big" guys. He was grazing at first (I will attach another photo) and then I got to see him kneel and lay down. I was amazed at his gracefulness.
I could have watched them for hours but needed to head out of the park to go visit Kirby our boy in hunt training. Next visit I am going to spend alot more time in the park ;)

Taken with my 70-200mm 2.8 lens Handheld.

I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for the wonderful comments, Tiia, Tammy, Bobby, Melissa, Sabrina and Juri!

I totally agree Bobby - I kept a safe distance away even though at other times in the park people would go way to close to these magnificent elk.

Plus I feel we need to honor their home - we are just visiting ;) #7909700
