The BIG Boys

Uploaded: September 01, 2009

Description

From my August trip to the RMNP. On my third trip - I spotted these 2 large bull elk relaxing in the late afternoon. I don't know why the one in the back is so much darker - I am thinking an age thing because his rack was unbelievable. The front bull was a 10 pointer.
I still get goose bumps looking at this series of shots.

Taken with my 70-200mm 2.8 lens - Handheld.

Happy September friends! Thank you for stopping by, for your comments, suggestions and help!
