Outstanding... in his field!
This white goat had its head stuck in the fence! Of course we stopped to help the fellow out. He was kind enough to let me take his portrait which I guess was his way of saying, thanks. I took this at sunset yesterday. He does have quite a view in back!
I hope everyone in California is safe from the fires. I have to get up early and here I am, at 2 a.m. I will comment later in the day! A great September to all!

Great that you were there Nadya!! Beautiful rural area shot...and this guy smiling for you..Nadya Johnson September 01, 2009
Thanks for your great supportive comments! (I didn't have the heart to take his photo while his head was stuck. Actually, we went to the door - we know the guy - but no one was home. After that, we got him out ourselves. I have no idea how long he'd been there, but he was really anxious to be free! There are a lots of other goats who live there - have to wonder how ofeen they trap themselves that way! But usually, the owner's home.) #7908142Kitty R. Rodehorst-Hanna September 01, 2009
