Alan,
I love this--the color, light and especially the composition. This is what I want to be able to do. Can you tell us a little more about how you took this shot? Camera, focal length, exposure, etc.?

Hi Piper L.
Thanks for your interest and the nice words. Here's some data - as precisely as I can do it: I used my Canon Eos with a 70-200 mm tele. I can't remember the focal length and shutter speed, but the shutter must have been more than 1/125 - probably a few steps faster, as the camera in this situation was hand held. I think the film was a 400 asa Kodak Gold.
The picture has been shot in order to make this 'special' composition but it has been cropped a bit in the left side. A few of the apples in the foreground was placed in order to give it a little extra weight in the foreground. But only a few...!
