Does anyone know what this insect is? It buzzes around like some huge fly and is pretty scary looking to me....what is it!!!!!!!

Hi, Linda! Am pretty sure this is a robber fly..a nasty fellow...They ARE scary looking, particularly to other insects, which they devour pretty voraciously. We have lots of them here in Central TX!
