Light source is a pocket flashlight. The reason for the long exposure is to use the flashlight to highlight select areas of the apple. Technique used by Allison Earnest.
No editing, straight from the camera.

The trick is to constantly turn the flashlight on and off as you highlight select areas of the apple. #7885006
