Barn Interior

Uploaded: May 08, 2005

Description

My grandfather built this barn shortly after he returned from Europe after World War One. Since then it has accumulated eighty-five years of stuff from around our farm. I shot this on Delta 100 film through a 28mm F2.8 lens @ F11 and 1 sec. I like the atmosphere of this picture especially the horse looking through the opening at the back of the image. There is too much contrast to easily see him. This is something I will take care of when I get a photoshop or similar program.

Nice shot, Thomas and good perspective. Barn shots are great especially when you use the available light...gives it a more interesting effect. Thanks for sharing the history, too! #246524

Thanks Jane - Some of my fondest memories of growing up on the farm come from this old barn. I plan using it in more photos.
