Mushroom - Spot Metering

Uploaded: August 11, 2009

Description

I chose spot metering because the mushroom was fairly shadowed in the bush and under a bunch of trees. I wanted to put the emphasis on the mushroom so it was important that I ensured that the meter took the exposure reading from it. Here are the details...Tri-pod, Aperture Priority, .6 second, f/4, ISO 100, 41mm, WB daylight. I also used mirror lock for the first time, and self timer, but forgot to turn off the Image Stabalizer.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 6/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 41.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D
