This is the Grist Mill at the New Salem Historical site where Abe Lincoln lived and worked. The river changed its course and left the mill dry.

Another great old structure and an outstanding capture, Mike! Rivers will do that I guess, if left to their own devices. I know the old red mill I have featured several times is also high and dry today and is now a private home with a water wheel in the yard!
