I LIKE YOU 2

Uploaded: August 01, 2009

Description

This is an HDR close up
captured with available window side light.
Taken with 3 F-Stop shutter speed spread
17-55mm non-macro Nikkor Lens set At F11
ISO 100, Nikon D2X, TIF captured mode (3 images, Normal, +1, and +2 exposure)
Processed with Photoshop CS3 merge to HDR.
cropping, spot cleaning, minor sharpening, resizing and resolution reduced for web viewing.

Notes: Capuring in camera TIF as opposed to RAW images for HDR save a lot of Post-processing time. The original images show an astonishing image tonality and are virtually indistinguishable from RAW HDR images. Any difference in color is due to post-processing error.

There is only so much tonality that can be shown online. The center of the images were enlarged offline to an equivalent of 30 by 40 inches and the detail in the hair is just fantastic. For Realistic phogotographs Photoshop CS3 is excellent.
