congrats on the EP Bobby. Fine composition and a surprisingly nice amount of color for such lighting. Well done. Would look nice in B/W as well, I'm sure. #1163255Bobby R. Strange August 03, 2009
Thanks, Dale :) Was taken from my parents back yard :)Yeah, it isn't bad in b&w. I thought the colors really added to the pic though :) #7812363

Isn't fog a great thing, Bobby? I do like this particular image in color, though. Nicely done. #7812625Christie R. Bielss August 03, 2009
Nice image Bobby. Love the fog and the color is really pretty. Would love to see what this would look like as either sepia or partially desaturated. Congrats on the EP! #7812809Bobby R. Strange August 03, 2009
Thanks, Debbie and Christie. Hmmm, never thought of what it might look like in sepia/desat. Will have to try that and see how it looks! Thanks for the idea! :) #7812816Bobby R. Strange August 03, 2009
Ok, I tried a straight sepia and didn't care for it at all. Too much brown. So instead I did a sort of colored sepia. I still think I like the full color version better, but the sepia isn't bad :) #7812844Christie R. Bielss August 03, 2009
You know Bobby, with this to work in the sepia, I think you'd have to combine an antiquing filter to it and adjust it until it looks right. I do still really like the color though. #7812869Bobby R. Strange August 03, 2009
Yeah, I think you're right Christie. But I think I'm gonna just stick with the color version. I like it much better. And if I were gonna do anything more to it, I think I'd probably texture it instead of going sepia. I've never been a big fan of sepia in most things I've done...other than the occasional portrait. You know, now that I think about it, all through my childhood I wasn't a big fan of the color brown. I wonder why that is. Yellow is my color...which is probably what appeals to me in this photo :) #7812881

I like the color, and I love the feel of the shot. Congrats!!!!!! #7812932Rita K. Connell August 03, 2009
great pic Bobby but my favorite is your second post, I like the brown tones.Bobby R. Strange August 03, 2009
Noooooo!! No browns!!! Down with the color brown!!!! Ok, I haven't been drinking. Really, I haven't :)I'm a big fan of fog in the country...which is a good thing, since I live in the country. I love to go out shooting the morning after a good rain because there's almost always fog to be found here :) #7812958

Once again...just about last to leave a comment!Bobby R. Strange August 04, 2009
Nope, not a scan. It's the result of my beveled edge that I give all my shots before uploading to bp :) #7814115Anthony L. Mancuso August 04, 2009
Great pic, congrats on the EP...I prefer the color version as well, it think it works better with those colored ground plants in the foreground...theats interesting about the beveled edge, I never noticed it before on your images, or even on this one til it was pointed out.. #7815308Debbra Bailey August 04, 2009
