Sunrise from Sourdough

Uploaded: July 30, 2009 21:00:31

Description

The clouds around Mt. Rainier can move very rapidly. I took this image early in my hike along Sourdough Ridge out of Sunrise on the east of Rainier (seen in foreground). There is even a little cloud cap that formed up on the top of the mountain. I tone mapped image in Photomatrix and applied an unsharp mask.

Exif: F Number: 18, ExposureTime: 6666/100000 seconds, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 24.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700
