Description

On March 4, 1911, a special Act of Congress created the National Mckinley Memorial Association. The Association's purpose was to design and construct a structure to mark the birthplace of President William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States. The National McKinley Birthplace Memorial is the direct result of that effort.

Great framing of the scene, Dan!! I must admit that my attention was directly drawn onto your shadow rather than the main subject...can it be corrected?? #1313889

Donald K. Cherry May 03, 2005

I'd be amiss if I didn't offer a special thank you to Cindy P for the creative title!

Thanks everyone for the comments! #1313947

Beautiful shot, Don! #1313985

Donald K. Cherry May 03, 2005

BTW..Sanjay, while perhaps not being technically correct, I intentionally left the shadow in the image because I felt it gave the shot my personal touch. As for your question, yes it can be corrected, but I have enough different shots w/out the shadow, so I think i'll leave this one as is! #1313986
