Description


Coastal Maine, where the Kennebec River and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Most Lighthouse images portrait a perceived glamour of the beautiful coastline.... On the other hand there are probably long periods of time when the Lighthouse Keeper can feel isolated from the rest of the world. Dark skies, stormy seas and loneliness are all part of the job; I have attempted to represent that here.

Canon 70-200L IS at 140mm. Late afternoon, ISO 400, 1/1600 @ f8.0 (PSE7 + NIK Silver EFEX)

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, FocalLength: 140.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 50D
