Congratulations on a well deserved EP Bobby. Love the coloring and effects of this shot. Also favor the vignette here even though I'm not a big fan of it.Even though this won (and rightly so) I would have liked to have seen more space on the left side of the shot as it appears out of balance to me. #1159897

Thanks, Dale :) This is pretty much as shot as far as the crop goes, so there wasn't really any space left. I had gone back and forth with myself about the space at the top, but finally decided I liked it because of the basket texture and I didn't wanna lose any of the peppers at the bottom either :) #7786219Rita K. Connell July 27, 2009
very nicely done Bobby clear down the the wrinkle peppers. I like all the basket in the picture for the same reason I like the texture of it. Congrat's on EP #7787259Teresa H. Hunt July 27, 2009
Wonderful shot!! I love the vignette and the texture of the shot. #7787379Ellen H. Robertson July 27, 2009
Outstanding still life. Is this one of your textures, I really like the effect. Congratulations #7787928Anthony L. Mancuso July 27, 2009
Great image Bobby, congrats on the EP..funny you mentioned the space on the top because I was going to mention cropping some off of there... #7788115Bobby R. Strange July 27, 2009
Thanks all!Ellen, this is a combo of I think 3 different textures. I kept a lot of the texture off the veggies, but there is still some there.
Tony, I figured someone would mention it since I had questioned it myself while editing, so I thought I'd mention it first :) #7788146

very nice! and congrats! I also questioned the top but it seems to be able to work both ways #7788287Jeff E Jensen July 27, 2009
Very nice Bobby! #7788609Susan M. Reynolds July 28, 2009
I kind of figured this would have the EP stamp on it before I even enlarged it! It's great. Love the texture-as a few mentioned it's a little crowded on the left, but as you stated it is pretty much as shot so it's really not worth mentioning.Sharon Lohrmann July 28, 2009
congrats on the EP bobby. nicely done. #7791854Christie R. Bielss July 28, 2009
I think all has been said. I really like the variety of colors here and how well they blend with the b/g. Congrats on the EP. #7791940Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
