The Kiskatinaw Bridge, 28 km. north of Dawson Creek British Columbia. This unique curved and banked, timber truss bridge over the Kiskatinaw River is considered to be the 16th engineering wonder of the world. It is part of the Alaska Highway, a 1500 mile roadway pushed through the untamed wilderness of mountains, muskeg and mosquitoes in just 9 months during W.W.2 in a joint effort by American troops and both American and Canadian civilians.

Nice composition and POV Jean. I like the way your eye follows that bridge around into the trees. Its too bad those wires are hanging right behind it. #1155633Jean Lechleiter July 20, 2009 0
