Miracle of Birth [Low Key & High Key: Very White & Very Dark Pictures A New Way to See Black & White]

This shot was taken in someone's yard as these huge sunflowers were easily spotted as we were driving by.
I took the shot with the aperture wide open and the camera as close to the subject as the Canon 100mm Macro Lens would permit, thus filling the frame completely.
This image was not cropped, but the levels were boosted because the lens this close to the subject did not permit a lot of light in and the image was slightly underexposed.
Like all of my photographs, I shot this image in RAW and converted it into a TIFF file.
