How cute is that....looks like Dad and son getting ready to fish! ;)
Too bad the young boy doesn't have a pole in hand!

Nice job!

This is another of your images that suggests a story. Barbara is seeing it as dawn and father and son are getting ready for a day's fishing while I see it as dusk and darkness is falling. Dad is tidying away their fishing tackle ready for a long hike back to their truck while his son is staring into the water at fish that now have lost their spookiness and have approached within just feet of the dock. He wants to know why he didn't get a single bite and Dad will lovingly explain why earlier he had asked the boy not to run up and down the dock. Another lesson about fishing will have been learned!
You will gather Matt that I really like these lakeside images. Thanks again for sharing and more details would be appreciated my young friend.

As soon as I thought this I thought of Father and Son as well. I can see Pete's "story" version of it as well.
Great capture and a very calming effect on the eyes which leads to a calming of the spirit as well...
Nicely done!

Pete, I love how you look at things! ;) and write them out. I actually was thinking evening (I love sunsets/evening...that is one of my favorite things to shoot and when I loved to fish too! ;)
I see the boy begging Dad to hurry up because he sees all the fish waiting for their evening meal ;)
Great discussion on your photo Matt, these photos really evoke different stories for each of us!
Nice work!

Thank you all for your stories about whats going on in this photo. Thats why I really enjoy this photo because Im able to see what others think is going on. These were one of those shot were I was in the right spot at the right time, becuase Peter nailed it on the head! The dad was packing up all there rods and tackle boxes while the kid enjoyed one last look into the water. I was only able to get this shot before they got up and walked back to the truck. I was extremely happy that this came shot came out good..

Thank you all again for your compliments!!

You know I was getting ready to write the same type of thing as Pete but as I'm so late, everything has already been said. Still, I wanted to add my two cents. :)It's a great sense of line and color and calmness.
I hope to see more of your images as the summer winds down maybe you'll be able to come on the club more. #7861064
