Robert, I was only *just reading* about this wonderful discovery over breakfast!BTW - I love the extreme vertical presentation and it was a delight to wait to discover the whole photo as it slowly revealed itself on to my PC screen.

Robert, wonderful capture! Just the other day I was reading the about the siting of the white billed woodpecker through the National Wild Life society. I'm a big bird watching fan and have many a pileated woodpecker around our area, so I appreciate your photo and of course the find of this species once again! Can you tell me what lense you used on your Nikon D70 and any other settings used for this shot? Thanks #1306613Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
