Description

Taken at St. Patrick's in Decatur, IL, the original photo was taken mid-day on a tripod and no flash, using the A-DEP setting. Although the original photo was pretty sharp under the light conditions, the camera shot at f/3.5, 0.6 sec, ISO 800. I applied a poster edge for a more dramatic effect.

Exif: F Number: 7.1, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 6/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi

Now you caught some wonderful light Cynthia!!! Beautiful! I know what you mean about the low lighting conditions in these older buildings... great job! Love the way it seems to go on forever! #7724765

I often use f8 ~11 when I shoot churches to maximize DOF, but your image came out quite good with f3.5. Excellent perspective for this magnificent church. Details you captured is very impressive. Really beautiful work Cynthia!! #7729296
