Description

It was a rainy day and I was bored, I took this picture with my D1X and had to crop it because there was a black spec from dust on the CCD. I must be the only one with dust problems.

Hi Kevin. Nice shot! About the dust speck.....I have the same problem sometimes with my D100 but it has a cleaning procedure that's relatively simple to follow. You have to have the AC power adapter to do it but all you do is lock the mirror up and then use a small squeeze blower to blow debris off of the CCD. Barring that, I just use the clone tool in photoshop to fix the specks until I get a chance to clean the CCD. #24718
