My Jo

Uploaded: April 28, 2005

Description

It's hard to get good photos of my 2nd youngest, Jolissa. I thought this one turned out pretty good. I took this using two continuous lights, and I had the camera on the portrait setting. Shot in color, then converted to a black and white using Paint Shop Pro 6. I also lightened the photo and used Unsharp Mask.

Thanks so much, Roger, Vendla, and Lynn!

Lynn, thanks also for the compliments on Jo. She is very tiny, I call her my little pixie. :o) She's very adorable in person, but it's somehow hard to capture her personality in a portrait. I was rarely satisfied with photos of her from Pennys and Sears. I love having a good camera and studio lights, I can work with her to get good photos! As for the black and white, I think I prefer that in almost every portrait I take. I just love the way people's eyes look in black and white portraits. #1303475
