Wow, Aiden - this is SUCH a beautiful scenic capture!! It certainly does look as though it's quite an isolated place!! The lighting, 'mood', textures, colours, point of view and composition here all are just outstanding!! :o)

This is what my hubby, Phil, and I love about BP - we get to see and learn about SO many wonderful new places!! I would really love to visit Canada, and particularly Newfoundland, one of these days!! ;o) #1151252

PS, Aiden - so is all this paraphernalia on the shoreline to do with the fishing industry of this area? Please tell us a little more about this most interesting place!! :o) #7716776

Thank you Carolyn, Dominick and Michelle. Located on the western side of the island of Newfoundland the region is connected to the island by a narrow isthamus. This region has a lively francophone community decended from French fisherfolks and Acadians. What you see in the foreground of the pic is lobster traps(stacked on the beach because the season for lobster is over) and the small white boats are used to fish lobster, crap and cod. The mountain in the background is called Cape Comorant. The beauty and grandeur makes it one of the few places on Earth that is still as it should be.
