Description

An exhibit at the Science Museum in Valencia (Spain). From left to right:

René Descartes, philosopher and mathmetician, whose statement "I think, therefore I am" became a foundational element of western philosophy. Alfred Lothar Wegener, geologist and meteorologist, best known for his theory of the continental drift. Wolfgang Pauli, physicist who made important contributions in the development of the modern theory of quantum mechanics. Marie Curie, chemist and physicist, pioneer in the field of radioactivity. Benjamin Franklin, inventor of the lightning rod and bifocals.
