Description

Just over two years ago on June 7, 2007, the Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort in Wisconsin was hit by a strong tornado that devastated the resort. This Kayak Tree serves as a memorial to that event.

Wow, Bill - that sounds as though it was not only a devastating, but also a very frightening experience!! :o( Is this how the kayaks ended up after the tornado? What a wonderful capture, though, of this memorial to that June 7, 2007, event!! :o/

Here Downunder, on the 8th of June in the same year, our area suffered very severe coastal storms which caused loss of life, and a LOT of fear, flooding and wind damage!! It was apparently the most destructive storm system to hit the region in 30-50 years...and I can tell you that none of us in this area want a repeat dose ANY time soon!! ;o/
