Howling Bbay Winds...

Uploaded: May 29, 2009

Description

The wind was a steady 45mph, it was hard to keep the tripod on it's feet, let alone hope for a long exposure steady shot.
I tried evrything to keep the trpod fron moving, even standing next to it and opening my jacket to counter the onging onslaught.
I set the camera for a 30 second exposure as I wanted to capture the lonely palm tree that was rocking back and forth like a crazed teenage punk rocker. The clouds were moving at great speed and seemed to be smoke coming from a cuban cigar over Miami.
As far as skylines go, Miami is still one of the most sublime to watch.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 250/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D80
