The title made me smile, Vicki, and you made excellent use of DOF here with the slight background blur giving us a sense of location but letting the figure of the man and his catch star. Nice lines from the pov, too, with the receding boardwalk and railings. #1131992

Nice capture Vicki... poor guy... he draged that poor fish all the way down the pier on its nose like that...

Doesn't matter, Sherry, nobody eats the nose anyway (well, at least I don't)! :-D Interesting, well composed photo with a drop-dead (so to speak) caption, Vicki! #7552881

Outstanding timing, a very cool capture. I wish I could catch a fish like that! #7552966

What a terrible way to get a bloody nose!

Poor, dead fish! Ha! :)

Thanks for the visits and kind words, everyone. I grabbed a few shots of this guy holding and showing off his catch, along with some of him letting a little boy touch it, but when I saw him walking away dragging it, I knew that was THE shot. #7554968

Great shot & title! I really like reading all the comments, too! (I thought the same thing about the nose everyone else did!) #7556448
