DR Koncerthuset (the concert hall)

DR Koncerthuset (Concert Hall) officially opened on the 17th of January 2009. It is designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel. The building is 26.000 square meter and has approximately 200 rooms. The largest is the concert hall, which has 1800 seats. The outside of the building has a blue shield, which in the night can be illuminated.
The bright light to the right is from a pasing metro train.
