Description

The gregarious Cliff Swallow nests in large colonies on buildings, cliffs, and under bridges (as seen here). The gourd-shaped mud nests can number up to several hundred or thousand in a single location.
I used my tripod and aimed the camera at 90 degrees to get this one..Subject in shade, & looking down at me. Lampasas River, Texas.
